Since this is an Ecumenical Service with all of the churches in the communities and their pastors involved, a drama such as "No Condemnation" from the book Forsaken* by Robert E. Mitchell (published by CSS Publishing Co., Lima, Ohio, 1993) is a very meaningful choice. Other suitable dramas or readings may be used.
The Home Church provides a Lay Person to lead the congregation. The Visiting Churches provide a Lay Person to drive the nails, a Lay Person to light the candles, and a choir. The Pastors read the Dramatic Reading, "No Condemnation."
