Thespian Theological Thoughts
Have you seen the Hertz television ad where a group of businessmen are having a series of bad experiences with a rental car? The boss asks his subordinate if he rented from Hertz, and the subordinate says, "N-o-o-o-t exactly." That's the little gimmick in this play: it's just a drawn out "not" ... not "newt." The purpose of this silly little mnemonic device is to remind us that we can't put God in a box. Every time we think we have him figured out, he says, "N-o-o-o-t exactly!"
