What piqued my imagination in these instructions for the keeping of the Passover was the admonition that if a household was too small for them to eat one lamb, they were to invite the neighbors next door to share the meal with the small household.
I began to imagine how these instructions might work out in daily life. Would it reveal how neighbors got along with each other? If there had been tension between neighbors could the sharing of the lamb bring about reconciliation?
