Julia, The Church Years
When she was one month old, Julia was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church. Her family came to church most Sundays. She progressed through every Sunday school classroom, and came faithfully even during fifth grade when they had to sit on chairs in the boiler room. She was confirmed in ninth grade and could recite most of the catechism, except sometimes she'd get mixed up on the meanings to the Lord's Prayer. She loved church.
