"Understanding Your Gifted Child," the title of the pamphlet read. She had brought it home from the school seminar for parents of high-potential youngsters. She was a bit surprised to hear her husband say, "Gifted? Who isn't?"
Later in the evening, after she had turned the question over in her mind a dozen times or so, she said to him, "You know, you're absolutely right. There isn't any youngster in that school who isn't gifted. Maybe what we need to do is help them find the gifts they have -- and then to use them!"
Paul knew something about being gifted. Every Christian in the Corinth congregation was included when he said "you are not lacking in any spiritual gift." With that knowledge, they -- like we -- are called upon to wait for the coming of the greatest gift of all.
