History does not treat kindly...
Illustration
History does not treat kindly a person who betrays another. No matter how many accomplishments the person has before his betrayal, history only remembers the treachery. One such person who is only remembered for his betrayal was the Norwegian, Vidkun Quisling. He was the man who, through collaboration and betrayal, turned Norway over to Nazi Germany in World War II. History indeed chooses to recall little else about him other than this treachery. In fact, history has chosen to remember him by making his name, Quisling, synonymous for the word traitor. -- Watson
