Have you ever traveled on a highway and suddenly, out of nowhere, three crosses appear? I first saw this about 20 years ago as I was driving through West Virginia on my way to Florida. When I first saw the three crosses, I wondered why they were there and who had put them there. In time, I learned that the crosses were being placed throughout the country by a retired businessman who had experienced an answer to prayer, and out of gratitude he had adopted the project of erecting crosses throughout America. The cross is a symbol -- it is a symbol of the Christian faith.
