Several years ago a friend gave me a little picture done in black and white. He asked me what I saw in it. I told him it looked like a dark hillside covered with patches of white snow. He agreed that it did look like that, but there was more to be seen if I kept on looking. I stared and stared at those blobs of white and black but saw nothing. He told me to be patient.
