The truth

a padlock and keys (only one key that will open the lock)
Good morning! I'd like to talk with you this morning about
truth. What is truth? (Let them answer.) The truth is what is
really, absolutely true. When George Washington's father asked
him who cut down the cherry tree, he answered, "Father, I cannot
tell a lie. I did it!" George was telling the truth. He was
saying what was absolutely true.
The thing we need to remember about truth is that there are
not different kinds of truth. A thing is either true or it's not
truth. What is truth? (Let them answer.) The truth is what is
