It's difficult to
know what to do with old buildings such as Victorian schools. Many Victorian
schools are so old and dilapidated that it's cheaper and more efficient to
build new premises for our children rather than try to renovate the old. But
then villages are sometimes left with the old buildings (especially if the
school was in private hands before the days of compulsory education) and have
no clear idea of how to use them.
