"Good morning." The young man stopped the wheelbarrow at the edge of the sidewalk in front of the waiting dumpster.
"Morning," Joan said. "I'm glad to see the city is finally doing something about this eyesore of a vacant lot."
The man smiled. "We don't work for the city, ma'am. We're from the church."
