In the Arabian Nights collection of stories, there is this one:
A young man dreamed of a place where there were "acres of diamonds."He was so impressed that he set out to find those diamonds. Years later, he returned to the home community, a broken man.
But now he realized that the man who bought his farm, by industrious hard work, had succeeded in reaping plentiful harvests each year from the soil, and that there were acres of "diamonds" right there!
Russell H. Conwell, a famous lecturer, was so inspired by this story that he prepared a great lecture on it, traveled the world, and gave that lecture over 6,000 times! It gave him "acres of diamonds" as well.
