Synopsis: Mary's mother, Anne, struggles with the separation Caesar's decree will cause between herself and her daughter at the critical time when Baby Jesus is due to be born. She passes on to Mary, as a gift and comfort, the swaddling cloth that she used at Mary's birth. At issue: Responding when the will of God disrupts our lives and families.
