This story came from a tour guide in Israel:
It seems that when the Lord finished the Ten Commandments, he had trouble finding someone to take them.
You have seen those pictures of Moses with two tablets of stone on which are shown Roman Numerals I to X carved thereon.
When the Arabians were approached about taking the commandments, they turned down the opportunity, because they wanted to have as many wives as they liked, and the Seventh Commandment bothered them.
And the stone masons also refused the offer, because they often made idols out of stone. Other cultural groups had excuses.
When the Lord asked Moses if he would have them, he bargained, "How much are they?"
The Lord said, "They're free!"
Moses answered, "I'll take two!"
