There was once a woman who believed very strongly in the sanctity of marriage. She had twin daughters, and as they grew up, she tried to impress on them the importance of fidelity in the marriage relationship.
When the girls reached their 18th birthday, she asked them to promise her that when they married, they would always be faithful to their husbands.
The first daughter said, "Why, certainly, Mother, I promise that when I marry it will be for life, and I will always be faithful to my husband."
