2 Thessalonians 2:16
I have lots of memories of George. I first met him at a trustees meeting at our church in my first month as a pastor. I was a new, wet behind the ears, naive, young pastor. I was, in short, just the kind of person George could torment. And he did. I left that meeting wondering what I had done to make George hate me. I was sure he did. He asked the other trustees why the church had to pay me so much.
