Stories And Humor For Inspired Preaching
At Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, one can witness this most unusual phenomenon: the tidal bore from the Atlantic Ocean.
At low tide there is just mud and a trickle of water in the bottom of the river. When the tide changes we behold a complete change of scenery. In a few moments the trickle backs up, followed by an inrush of ocean water. It gains crescendo even as one watches it, as it fills up the river banks and overflows onto the lowland flats nearby. What a tremendous display of energy, pressing onward and upward.
