"They"
Worship
Old Wine In New Skins
Calls To Worship And Other Worship Resources
"They" is an ugly word. It robs us of our most precious gift -
- individualism. People who are the wrong age, speak with the
wrong accent, have the wrong color of skin, work at the wrong job
(or have no job), are all "they" to others. "Well, they are all
like that, you know!" is an expression of damaging condescension.
Being lumped into that sad category robs us of feelings, ideas,
and recognition of our life's contributions. A precious treasure
that we can grant any person who lives in a different group than
