One evening when the Archbishop of Canterbury, George Carey, was here, he wanted to get a Texas steak so I arranged to take the Archbishop out to McBride's Steak House.
During dinner, I was seated next to the Archbishop's wife and I called her "Mrs. Carey." She said, "Robert, my husband, is the one with the fancy titles. Just call me Aileen."
So, I smiled and asked, "Aileen, which of the fancy titles do you call your husband? Do you call him 'Archbishop'? Or, do you call him, 'Your Grace'?"
