Pastoral Prayers For All Seasons
It is our intent, O Lord, to give you our undivided attention. As best we can we let the business of our lives slide off our shoulders. We coax our bodies to relax. We allow silence to have its healing way with our bruised and battered spirits. Deliberately we set aside all the explanations and defenses we use to put ourselves in a better light. Here we are, our King, humbled and penitent. We have eyes and ears only for you.
