Theme: God's Call To Preach The Good News
Call To Worship
Leader: God be merciful to us and bless us.
People: Look on us with kindness, Lord, so the whole world may know your will.
Leader: May all the peoples praise you, O God.
People: May the nations be glad and sing for joy, because you judge the peoples with justice and guide all nations on earth. Amen.
Collect
Almighty God, we praise you and give thanks for the Good News that was brought to us with the resurrection of Jesus. Through his death upon the cross, he brought us salvation from our sins, and by his resurrection he has given us new life, new hope, and a new understanding of your love. May each of us gathered here be granted a vision of your call to us to witness to the Good News to people everywhere regardless of their race or nationality. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, we have refused to recognize the talents you have given us. We have held back from witnessing to the Good News of Christ's resurrection because we didn't think we were properly equipped. Forgive our backwardness, and open our eyes, our minds, and our hearts that we may realize the gifts you have bestowed upon us, so that we may go from this place filled with enthusiasm for the opportunities that await us to serve you. Amen.
Offertory Prayer
O God, we know what gifts we have presented this day for the work of your Church. Help us also to recognize the talents you have given us that we may dedicate them also to the work of your kingdom. Amen.
Hymns
"Here I Am, Lord"
"Lord, Whose Love Through Humble Service"
"How Shall They Hear The Word Of God?"

Collect
We praise you, God of all the nations, and we give you thanks for instilling in our hearts the hope of that day when all the nations of the world will be part of your kingdom, and all the peoples of the earth will walk by your Light. We pray, Father, that we may be used in the building of that kingdom and the spreading of your Light. Through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, we thank you that the gates of your kingdom are always open, and so we come asking your forgiveness of past failures. We would drink from the Water of Life, and be granted new life in your kingdom. Amen.
Offertory Prayer
There is no temple in the New Jerusalem, because you are the temple, Lord God Almighty! We do not bring sacrifices this morning, Almighty God, but offerings as signs that we would be partners with you in the building of your kingdom. Amen.

Leader: Let us worship and give thanks unto him.
People: He is the way, the truth, and the life, both now and forever.
Collect
O Lord Jesus Christ, you have made known to us God, our Father, full of compassion and love. You promised your disciples that when you no longer walked among them they would not be left alone, for you would dwell within them. We thank you for this promise, and for the reality of your presence with us even today. Bestow upon us now that peace which passes understanding that we may cease to worry or to be upset or afraid. Amen.
Prayer Of Confession
Lord, we do love you, but we confess we have not always kept your commandments. By your mercy, grant us forgiveness, and by the power of your Holy Spirit, enable us always to show forth our love for you and to love our neighbors as ourselves. Amen.
Offertory Prayer
Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and our Father, too, accept these gifts as an expression of our gratitude, and enlighten those who will decide how to spend them that they may be used to glorify your name and build your kingdom. Amen.
