Tormenting Questions In A Bizarre World
We originally planned to keep the place simple and easy to maintain, Leon. But as the years passed, these plans were eroded by supposed improvements. I am referring to our summer cabin. At the beginning we had no electricity and only a hand pump in the kitchen for drawing our water. Then electricity was added, soon to be followed by installing telephones. Later we modernized the building, including such "improvements" as two bathrooms, two furnaces, a water softener, water heater, sump pump, tempering tank, and television antenna.
