A Study Of The 23rd Psalm
When John writes "Logos" or "Word" in the first chapter of his
gospel he means Christ. So we translate it that way:
"When all things began, the Christ already was. The Christ dwelt
with God, and what God was, the Christ was. The Christ then, was
with God at the beginning, and through him all things came to be
... . All that came to be was alive with his life."
(John 1:1-4)
The Eternal Shepherd God "became flesh; and came to dwell among
