Some of the most far--reaching and conspicuous changes that have occurred in our culture in recent years have been the changes in the roles played by men and women. These changes in gender roles have come about, at least in part, as a result of what has been called "the women's liberation movement." But at its best, the movement should result in a real liberation of both men and women to become all that they can become and to make the best contributions that they can to the society in which they live. Many of us can name the changes we have seen taking place.
