Calls To Worship And Other Worship Resources
In some situations, I ask people with whom I am counseling,
where their "safe place" was when they were children. It might
have been a bedroom, a play house, somewhere in the woods, or
near a mountain stream. People without a "safe place" are people
in trouble. That "place" provides us with feelings of safety and
intimacy with our surroundings. It's that place to which we
always return when we need to pray, to reflect upon the great
issues of our lives, or to draw strength from the quietness,
where their "safe place" was when they were children. It might
