Her friends called her Prissy and on occasion they affectionately referred to her as Miss Prim and Proper Prissy. Priscilla Prudell didn't mind being called Prissy by her friends in her home or in theirs, but she insisted it was only proper she be called Priscilla in public. "It's Priscilla," she admonished others in supermarkets, department stores, sidewalk cafes, and even on empty streets.
"But, Priscilla, there's no one else on the street except the two of us," her friend protested.
