From a Mustard Seed
Illustrating The Message With Drama
Object:
Three 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of paper, each with a large punctuation mark on it: a question mark, an exclamation point, and a period
Message: Have you ever noticed that you can often tell what a person is going to say by the tone of his voice? Just by listening to the way he sounds, you can usually tell something about what his words will be.
For example, when I was young and my mother would say, "Young man, what is the meaning of this?" that meant she just found the mess I left in the kitchen and forgot to clean up. Or if I said to you, "Hey, guys, guess what I've got in this bag today!" that would mean I am excited you are here and I just can't wait to tell you what I have today.
