Dear Living Presence:
Save us from the hasty and superficial judgments some are making as we enter this new era of human experience. In the newfound freedom from primitive ways of viewing reality, some have lost sight completely of your unaltered presence.
Their expanding understanding of themselves and their environmental context has caused them to be afflicted with tunnel vision. In the resulting limited view, they see the universe as a mechanism, and humans as functioning in it in independence and solitude.
