Prayers for the Age of Technology
Dear Caring God:
We have awakened, but the dark mystery which still surrounds us causes us anxiety and fear. It is true that we have, in a sense, "come of age," but we are far from mature. Like venturesome adolescents, we pick our way uneasily, but with bravado, through dense jungles of persistent superstition, primitive misconceptions, stubborn dogmatism, and institutionalized error.
