Dear Participant Observer:
If men of old made a terrible mistake in trying to reach up to you with the Tower of Babel, what of our undertakings in this modern day?
We have built towers many times higher; we have probed your universe in much more audacious ways. Where the men of Babel aspired to reach you, we have simply ignored you, as we have split the atom, learned to fly, put a man on the moon, and done countless other daring things in trying to ferret out the secrets embedded in your universe.
