Pastor: Well, Peter, how are you getting along in Sunday school?
Peter: Fine. I'm learning a lot.
Pastor: What did you learn today?
Peter: I didn't know before this morning that Paul made pies.
Pastor: What?
Peter: Our teacher was telling us in Sunday school how Paul was a pie maker.
Pastor: Paul wasn't a pie maker.
Peter: I wonder what kind of pies he made?
Pastor: Paul didn't make pies! Paul was a missionary.
Peter: He must have made all kinds of pies.
Pastor: Paul was an apostle; he preached God's Word.
Peter: Yeah, and he made pies in his spare time. I mean he had to do something the rest of the week.
Pastor: He preached and worked for God every day.
Peter: He did? Must not have left much time for pie making.
Pastor: Peter, listen to me!
Peter: I'd like to have eaten one of Paul's pies!
Pastor: Peter! Read my lips! Paul didn't make pies!
Peter: Oh, yes he did, smarty!
Pastor: Peter ...
Peter: You always think you know it all.
Pastor: Peter ...
Peter: Well, I got you this time, 'cause my teacher told me.
Pastor: Peter ...
Peter: She said Paul made pies.
Pastor: Okay, Peter, where does it say that in the Bible?
Peter: Boy, Pastor, I'd think you would know.
Pastor: Peter ...
Peter: It says that "Paul went to fill-a-pie."
Pastor: Fill-a-pie? Paul went to fill-a-pie?
Peter: That's right!
Pastor: Fill-a-pie? Philippi. That's a town, not a pie! Paul went to the town of Philippi. Boy, Peter, you sure got mixed up on that Sunday school lesson.
