Pride
This story of Muhammad Ali in his heyday is told by Charles Swindoll in his book, Hope Again.
As heavyweight champion of the world, Muhammad Ali was pompous and a bit testy. He had taken his seat on a giant 747 as it began taxiing toward the runway. A flight attendant walked by and saw that the champ had not fastened his seat belt.
The attendant told Ali, "Please fasten your seat belt."
He looked up and snapped, "Superman don't need no seat belt, lady!"
