Palm Sunday
Pastor: This is the week!
People: The week of all weeks!
Pastor: Never before in one week had there been such events that would shape the destiny of humanity.
People: Never before had evil been so concentrated in one place, inserting itself in human hearts and pitting itself, with all its might and wickedness, against the Almighty God.
Pastor: Love, and all it stood for, was the target.
People: Righteousness, and all that God had intended that it would be, was pronounced the enemy.
Pastor: This is the week!
People: This is the holy week, the week of God's passion, the week when sin and death did all it could to prevail.
Hymn: "Rise Again" (Copy in, using CCLI#, or, use as a solo spot)
Pastor: On Palm Sunday, we see the distant light, as we head into the darkness.
People: On Palm Sunday, we faintly hear the anthem of eternal life, as we walk with our Master through the valley of the shadow of death.
Pastor: Then come to worship with the assurance that the goodness of God will prevail, and that the Lordship, which we proclaim on this day, shall truly reign supreme.
Hymn Of Praise: "Hosanna, Loud Hosanna"
