Leader's Helps: This series of confessions may be made by one
male (doing the parts of Simon, Pilate, Peter, John, the soldier
and Joseph) or six individual males. A female may do the
narration and the part of Mary Magdalene or there can be a
narrator and Mary. Seven candles may be lit at the beginning of
the service. As each confession ends the person making it sits
down. The narrator continues and ends with a prayer. She then
extinguishes one candle and begins the next introduction. She
