It is a peculiar place in the book of Romans for Paul to break out with his song of thanksgiving. The words just read are just past center in the middle of his letter. They end chapter eleven. Having written his heart out with gospel, proclaiming God's good news to pagans becoming Christians, Paul sings out his chorus: "O the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God!"
