Expression: The land of milk and honey
Location: Deuteronomy 6:3
Verse: ... as the Lord God of thy fathers [ancestors] hath promised thee, in the land that floweth with milk and honey.
There are some good church school teachers, and there are some not so good. For instance, children might hear about "the land of milk and honey" in their church school classes for years. However, where it was, what it was, and how it relates to the Bible never seem to be explained.
