Story Sermons Of God's Grace
Being a woman causes difficulties in being a pastor, not only because many men think I should not be a pastor, but some women also. I suffer from loneliness for women colleagues -- especially in a small town, a pioneer where I did not want to be a pioneer. Yet I am called to be a pastor and the blessings far outweigh the difficulties: the blessings of ministering to those who are coming to birth in faith, the blessing of standing at the Lord's table offering grace that can be tasted, the blessing of sharing with people who honestly question their faith and themselves.
