Many who feel emancipated are merely disorganized. Freedom is
a hard thing to handle, and as often as not, gets us into greater
trouble than we had before. The only advantage is that it's
trouble of our choosing, rather than that of another's choosing.
We become like the kite that tugs against its twine in an effort
to be free, but once loosed from its encumbrance, tumbles out of
control, until it smashes itself on tree limb or rain gutter. The
kite soars to the clouds, dips toward the earth and climbs again
a hard thing to handle, and as often as not, gets us into greater
