GOOBER: (ENTERS ALONG WITH JONK. THEY STAND BACK TO BACK IN PROFILE) Well, you did it again.

JONK: That's good.

GOOBER: No. That's bad.

JONK: Bad?

GOOBER: Bad!

JONK: Well, I did it again.

GOOBER: Yes, you did.

JONK: What did I do?

GOOBER: You made me look like a fool.

JONK: I did?

GOOBER: Yes, you did.

JONK: How?

GOOBER: You know very well how.

JONK: I do?

GOOBER: Yes, you do.

JONK: I do? Oh, yes, of course I do.

GOOBER: I was talking with that girl.

JONK: And you looked like a fool.

GOOBER: Not at first I didn't.

GOOBER: I remember.

JONK: A fool. Yes, a fool. You have to be a person's good friend first.

GOOBER: Before I witness my faith.

JONK: Yes, of course.

GOOBER: I was a fool.

JONK: Yes, but now you're not.

GOOBER: So, who can I witness to? I don't have any good friends.

JONK: Oh, yes, you do.

GOOBER: I do?

JONK: Yes, you do.

GOOBER: Who?

JONK: Me.

GOOBER: You? I could witness my faith to you?

JONK: Yes, of course.

GOOBER: Why? Why would I do that? You're already a Christian.

JONK: No, I'm not.

GOOBER: You're not? I didn't know you weren't a Christian.

JONK: Well, I'm not.

GOOBER: I am a fool. (THEY EXIT ARM IN ARM)
