God calls us to act righteously, like the midwives of Egypt who refused to obey Pharaoh's unjust law. God calls us to act daringly, like Miriam, the sister of Moses who guarded her brother by the river. God calls us to act compassionately, like Pharaoh's daughter, who saw a need and responded. God calls us, in our worship this morning, to more than praise and song. Listen to God this day.

Heavenly Father, plant the seed
That I may see the urgent need
Of all your children far and near.
