We are grateful, God, for the opportunity of our community Lenten services. Sometimes when we are immersed in our individual ministries, we feel that we are your only witness in __________ (name of community). Then it's a source of relief and a surge of joy to rediscover that we are not alone. There are other steady witnesses at our side. We are appreciative of our various heritages. Each of our traditions was formed in a time when earnest souls looked at you in some unique way, then set out to tell others how you revealed yourself.
