We come again, dear God, to the close of a year. You have been with us through the days of toil and rest, of labor and reward, of sorrow and of joy. In seasons of cold and heat, rain and snow, green grass and colorful trees, you made your presence known to us. When we celebrated, you danced with us, and when we grieved, you cried with us. In all things you were with us, and our faith in you was rewarded.
