In a kingdom long ago and fan away, near the middle of the third century, there was a giant of a man named Reprobus. Reprobus made a vow he would serve the greatest king in the world. First he entered the service of the King of Canaan. But when Reprobus learned that the king feared the Devil, he sought out Satan and served him. However, he soon learned the Devil feared a king called Christ, so he went in search of Christ. On the way, he met a hermit who told him he could serve Christ best by doing well the kind of work for which he was best suited.
