Holidays Are Holy Days
Sermons For Special Sundays
We may come to church on Mother's Day with certain expectations. For many of us, Mother's Day is a day for Hallmark Greeting cards, Helen Steiner Rice poetry, Norman Rockwell-esque family gatherings, chocolates, corsages, and watching I Remember Momma. It's a day for another double helping of Chicken Soup for the Soul. Of all the Sundays in a year, Mother's Day is probably the day we most expect a "warm fuzzy" for a sermon.
