Tonya watched her father live his last few years on a strict diet while on kidney dialysis. He had to give up the basic meat-and-potatoes meals he had enjoyed since he was a young boy. Her dad was depressed at the sight of the diet food he ate daily. He finally died. The pastor preached the sermon from Luke 24. It occurred to her that as Jesus rose and ate food, her dad would rise from the grave and eat the food he likes again. In fact, he will even be with his old friends again.
