Oftentimes one sees crosses placed along side the highway denoting the place where a tragic death occurred. It often causes one to emit a brief prayer for the unknown victim. Another school of thought, however, states that the crosses detract from focused driving and the constant reminders prevent the forgiveness and healing of those actually involved. There is no clear answer, but the forgiveness is required. Barbara Jurgensen and Carlos Wilton have written on the Ruth and Mark texts for this Sunday. Illustrations, the worship resource, and the children's sermon are also included.
