A young girl showed her Christmas list to her father before sending it to Santa. It was a very long list. Upon seeing the list, the father said to his daughter, "Why don't you place a mark beside three or four of the gifts that you really want! This will help Santa to know what to bring you!" "But I want all of these things," replied the little girl. "But you must think of others," replied her father. "Santa can't give everything to you. What about others? What about me?" "Oh, Daddy!" replied the girl. "Santa doesn't bring you gifts. Christmas is for kids." On Christmas God gave us the gift of a Son, born of Mary in a stable in Bethlehem. Isaiah writes, "God a child has been born for us, a son given to us, ..." (Isaiah 9:6). But this gift is not only for children. This child has been given to all, young and old alike. Christmas is not just for kids. -- Frank
