You would probably be hard pressed to name five products in your home that do not have warning labels on them or on the instructions that came with them. But how often do we read those warning labels?
We rarely read the labels, because most of the time those words of warning are meaningless to us. For example, a warning on a certain hair dryer says: "Do not use while sleeping." Or on a carpet cleaner it says: "Do not take internally." Or on a coffeemaker it says: "Do not put hands in pot while in use."
