The whole creation is groaning...
Illustration
The whole creation is groaning. The sounds and sights of hunger illustrate that. Since the disobedience of Adam and Eve, there has been a puncture in the pristine world. Unsatisfied to trust in God, we feed on one another -- creature on creature. What groaning must have filled the air two million years ago when a leopard bit into the forehead of a hominid skull that is now on display at the Transvaal Museum in Pretoria, South Africa. The holes in the head are precisely the width of a leopard's bite. The leopard ate the man. What, then, ate the leopard?
