"Who does she think she is?" they asked. After studying a text, the new pastor had stood up in front of their Bible study and suggested the church members invite members of the community to church. The church, 100 percent Anglo, was in the middle of a community comprised of forty percent Asians, forty percent Blacks and twenty percent Hispanics. All the current church members came from outside the community, having moved on when others moved in.
